“Ronin | Globus | ONBEAT Artist-in-Residence Program” is a program encouraging young up-and-coming artists in Japan to pursue their artistic activities. The program is hosted jointly by Stephen Globus, one of the leading investors in the U.S and David Libertson, owner of the Ronin Gallery, which has one of the best collections of Ukiyo-e woodblock prints in the U.S. ONBEAT has been participating from 2022. The program provides the opportunity for the winner to live in Globus Washitsu, located in the central part of New York City, and the opportunity to hold a solo exhibition at Ronin Gallery.
